The region offers a wide variety of trails, which can be explored while hiking and biking tours. If you want to discover the scenery more relaxed, you can do so by golfing in Bad Kleinkirchheim. The wonderful Carinthian lakes (Millstättersee, Wörthersee, Weissensee and many other smaller, but not less beautiful lakes) with their beaches and their top quality waters to bathe in are all within few kilometers. Bad Kleinkirchheim is also famous for its thermal baths: the water, rich in minerals, has a lot of healing effects. And the whirlpools, the large indoor and outdoor pools are a real paradise for adults and children. So even if it is raining, you´ll always find something fun to do here!
Originally we wanted only to ski down the fastest way. Of course the wide, 110 km long slopes of the Bad Kleinkirchheim ski area, or the near Turracher Ski arena are very inviting. But meanwhile there are also many alternative activities you can enjoy during your winter holiday. Whether it is ski touring and snowshoeing or tobogganing. After an action-packed adventure, there is nothing better than to end the day in the thermal baths, swimming in their warm waters, enjoying saunas or being pampered with a massage.
